One Gap is a sliding-picture puzzle game published by Owixi. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android application.
Information you provide
One Gap does not require you to create a traditional account. The app uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign a random technical identifier so that online races can operate. If you choose a nickname, it is stored on your device and may be stored with this identifier in Firebase and shown to opponents during online play.
Online multiplayer data
When you use Quick Match or Private Race, One Gap may process your anonymous player identifier, nickname, selected picture identifier, grid size, room or match identifiers, puzzle progress, move history, board state, match result, connection status, and timestamps. This information is used to find opponents, synchronize races, handle invitations and rematches, display live progress, prevent abuse, and maintain game statistics.
Photos, camera, and gallery
If you choose to create a puzzle from your own photo, One Gap may request access to the camera or Android photo picker. Selected or captured images are processed and saved locally on your device for your custom puzzles. One Gap does not upload your custom photos to Firebase or share them with opponents. You can delete a custom picture inside the app or remove all local data by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
Local game data
Preferences, unlocked pictures, stars, records, statistics, custom-picture files, and gameplay history may be stored locally on your device. Local information remains until you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
Advertising and consent
One Gap uses Google AdMob to provide rewarded and interstitial advertisements and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google's configuration, these services may process device or advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, advertising data, and diagnostics. This information may be used to deliver, measure, limit, and improve ads, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Firebase and app security
One Gap uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for online multiplayer services. Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity helps verify legitimate app requests and protect the multiplayer service from abuse. Google may process technical identifiers, device integrity information, network information, usage data, and diagnostics to provide and secure these services. Privacy choices
Where required, a consent message is shown before advertising is initialized. You can reopen available advertising choices from the “Privacy choices” option in One Gap settings. Your Android device settings may also allow you to reset or delete the advertising identifier.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo for a custom puzzle.
- Photos or media: selected through Android's system picker when you choose an existing picture.
- Network access: required for online races, Firebase security, consent information, and advertisements.
- Vibration: used for optional gameplay feedback.
Children's privacy
One Gap is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Owixi does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall One Gap. Online matchmaking and race records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the multiplayer service. You may request deletion of online data associated with your anonymous One Gap profile by contacting Owixi at the address below. Because the account is anonymous, we may ask for the in-app player identifier needed to locate the data.
Data security
Owixi uses reasonable technical controls, including Firebase security rules, anonymous authentication, and Play Integrity protection, to restrict access and protect online game data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when One Gap's features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The effective date shown above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
